You are Far from Alone.

If you are in a crisis pregnancy, are considering an abortion or know someone who is considering an abortion, please use the following resourses to further research your true options.  We are praying for you - as always.

Allied Women's Center: (210) 224-7077

Free Pregnancy Testing.  Help for women who choose life for their child.  Loving care and understanding for women in a crisis pregnancy.

Gabriel Project:   http://www.gabrielproject.com/

"Rejoice! Fear not!" were his words of encouragement and hope delivered to the Madonna in announcement of her unexpected pregnancy.  The Gabriel Project works to deliver this same message of hope to pregnant women today.  Our mission is to respect all life -- at any age, in any circumstance. This means that we are profoundly committed not only to the unborn, but also to their mothers.  Pregnant? Need help? Or, would you like to help someone in need?  You have arrived at the right place...

Majella Society: 1-800-395-HELP

Our media campaigns inspire our communities to rethink their position on abortion, but also offer a direct helping hand to women in need.  The free and confidential 1-800 number featured in our TV ads, billboards and www.teenbreaks.com links the caller to a national call center that will help her find the pregnancy center closest to her that can offer her counseling, pregnancy tests, financial support, and other tools to help her feel confident in her choice to embrace the heroism of motherhood

___________________________

It is our sincere belief that abortion does not end the day it happens.  Unfortunately for some, the pain, both emotional and physical, will continue long after the abortion has occurred.  Below are some resources, both local and national, that can help a woman suffering after having an abortion.  If you are a post abortive woman in need of healing, please know that we are praying for you and would like to help you in any way we can.

Project Rachel: http://www.hopeafterabortion.com/

Abortion's aftermath is largely ignored by the general public. Groups organized to protect the availability of abortion claim that abortion is no different from any surgical procedure and that pro-life groups are fabricating the existence of post-abortion suffering. Consequently, many women think that their grief reactions are somehow abnormal and believe that there is nowhere to turn for help....Project Rachel can be there to offer help in healing from an abortion

Operation Outcry: http://www.operationoutcry.org/

Join in the effort to get declarations from one million women and men who have been affected negatively by abortion. The lie has to be countered by a strong witness to the truth, and after 35 years of abortion on demand, many people certainly have a strong witness to offer. There is no time like the present to use it!

Silent No More: http://www.ramahinternational.org

The Silent No More Awareness Campaign is an effort to make the public aware of the devastation abortion brings to women, men and their families. The emotional and physical pain of abortion will no longer be shrouded in secrecy and silence, but rather exposed and healed. This effort is a key to make abortion unthinkable and persuade society that women deserve better than abortion.
